About Your Little Hero

Your Little Hero’s mission is to help children see themselves in stories where they overcome the everyday challenges that are unique to them.
Every child is an individual with their own characteristics and struggles. To find a book that encompasses both the unique depiction of your child and the specific challenge they are trying to conquer is almost impossible.

Your Little Hero aims to solve this by using AI technology to create storybook characters of your little heroes and write stories where they achieve success at every obstacle.

About The Developer

I came up with the idea after having my first baby and searching for books that are both educational and entertaining.
Seeing the lack of diversity of books and the price of each one had me realise that this is going to be a very costly exercise for an outcome which wouldn’t solve my child’s individual needs.

While speaking with my sister, who is an Occupational Therapist working with all abilities children, I learned that she spends a huge amount of time creating Social Stories that are custom made for each child.

This is when the lightbulb moment hit me. I had to make Your Little Hero come to life.

Since that moment, I have spent many months learning how to build apps so that I can attempt to make a difference in many children’s lives.
